Sector 04 Interceptor | Masudaya ‘Space Patrol’ Rocket (c. 1960)

€45.00
sold out

ITEM NO: [60-TOY-MAS-SPR]

DESCRIPTION: A rare, battery-operated tin and plastic spacecraft manufactured by Masudaya / Modern Toys (MT) in Japan. Approximately 29 cm (11.5") in length. Features a dual-propulsion "Mystery Action" motor and an integrated lighted pulse-gun. Requires two D-cell batteries to initiate the temporal drive.

CONDITION: Very Good / Active. The battery compartment is notably clean, showing no signs of "alkaline leakage" or corrosive decay. All electrical circuits are functional. The lithographed tin retains its vibrant "Deep Space" finish.

SITE MANAGER’S NOTES: The Office of Continuity has authorised this unit for patrol duties within the garage. The "Mystery Action" mechanism is particularly useful here; the rocket will move in a straight line until it detects a rip in the carpet or a geological boundary, at which point it will pivot and choose a new trajectory.

Warning: The "lighted gun" at the nose of the craft is not merely decorative. During the "Low C" hum, it has been known to illuminate objects that haven't been materialised yet.
