DESCRIPTION: A vintage AM Digital Clock Radio manufactured by Sony. This unit features an AM receiver and a mechanical flip-digit display.
CONDITION: Fair / Period-Correct. The housing shows moderate discolouration (UV-drift) consistent with five decades of exposure to artificial light. The clock mechanism and radio are fully operational.
SITE MANAGER’S NOTES: This unit was recovered from a site in Belgium and appears to have arrived here via a "soft-clipping" event. While the radio dial successfully captures AM frequencies, during the "Low C" hum, it has been known to broadcast internal memos from the 1974 Sony assembly plant in Taiwan.
